Visit Har ki Pauri, Haridwar – Ensure that you visit Har Ki Pauri in rainy season. You can spend 3-4 hrs here sitting on the stairs. Har Ki Pauri is well-known for ‘Ganga Aarti’ which take place around 6:30 pm, you have to come prior to take seat as there are many other devotees. Make sure that you don’t forget to take newspaper to sit there. The incantation of Jai Ganga was so calming, one can really feel the peace in mind. The Upper road market is must to visit. One can find huge variety of religious accessories & things at reasonable price. For best dining in Upper Road go to Hoshiarpuri. Just be cautious while walking in that market in the evening/night as there are lots of vehicles and the place is quite crowded.
