Theme restaurants are a rage these days. Everyone wants to do something different. Theme restaurants and cafes take you to different era or world. Delhi is not very far behind when it comes to theme restaurants and cafes.

Rang De Basanti Dhaba:
Now, this is no way connected to Aamir Khan or his movie. The Indian village theme is evident from the fact that a tractor is placed in the middle of the seating area. The food comprises of parathas, pind ka Baingan and Rajouri ka Butter Chicken. The Dhaba is placed in Sarojini Nagar.

The California Boulevard:
As the name suggest, this is a western eatery. Located in sector 29, Gurgaon, this eatery displays famous Hollywood celebrities and interesting trivia about them. Their famous delicacies include thin crust pizza, Ratatouille and Mezze platter.

If you are a fan of Japanese cuisine and are looking for a nice place to eat, then try Guppy by ai. Situated in Lodhi Colony, this place is a treat for people who love Sushi, tempura and okonomiyaki. The décor and interiors are made of all things Japanese like origami and metal lights, Japanese Kokeshi dolls and antiques.

A bike themed restaurant and café will surely race your heart. Located in Vasant Vihar area of Delhi, bike lovers throng to this place to taste Asian, Mediterranean, continental and Tex mex food.

Howzzat, the Galaxy Hotel:
A cricket theme is enough to lure customers to this place. You will find glove shaped seats, stadium lights and flags of the cricket playing nations. Enjoy your favourite matches with Margaritas and Bloody Mary.

Zambar Gurgaon:
This is a Kerala based theme with house boat as a back drop. The ambience will take you to the backwaters of Kerala. The cuisine comprising of appam with prawn curry, Malabar parathas with veg. korma and coconut payasam with worth trying.

Based in Noida, this restaurant calls for all Bollywood fans. Posters of popular film stars and dialogues will catch your attention, the moment you step in this Bollywood theme restaurant. The menu is designed on giant C.D. Old Bollywood songs entertain you while you have your food. The restaurant features cuisines from Indian to continental.

21 gun Salute:
This is a very unique theme. The restaurant has weapons and artifacts from 17th century, which were owned by Maharaja of Darbhanga. Based in Gurgaon, 21 gun salute has food from royal era like Kebab Tashtari, Roghani Arbi and Aloo La Jawab along with continental dishes.

Chor Bizarre, Hotel Broadway:
If you like antiques then head over to Chor Bizarre hotel Broadway at Daryaganj. Starters are arranged on vintage car. Various antiques from all over the world are displayed. Tandoori tawa, Wazwan and Patta chat are worth trying.

Café Terminus 1:
It is based on the theme of railway station. You will find suitcases, maps and clocks around the restaurant. Located in Vasant Kunj, the restaurant serves Indian, American and fusion cuisines.
