Kanyakumari- Kanyakumari is located at the southernmost point of India. Once you visit this place you can see view the beautiful and eye- catching sunrise and sunset. Vivekananda rock memorial is a must-visit place. Also, do see the sangam of three water bodies i.e. Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal.
Ajanta and Ellora Caves, Aurangabad -The caves of Ajanta and Ellora are renowned caves that are are cut out from the volcanic lava of the Deccan plateau. There are a total of 29 caves in Ajanta. The caves is an abode of well-preserved paintings that includes two great Boddhisattbvas, Avalokiteshvara and Padmapani. Also, there are total number of 34 caves in Ellora with extravagant facades and superbly adorned interiors. While travelling to this, ensure that you do not miss to visit the Siddhadtha Gardens and Bibi Ka Maqbara – The Mausoleum of Akbar’s Queen.
Lotus Temple -The Lotus Temple is a must visit if you are in Delhi. It is a holy place for meditation and the ambiance is divine and spiritual. Introspect and meditate while you sit in pure silence at the Lotus Temple.
Ganga Ghat, Varanasi -It is worth seeing the evening Ganga Arati at the Ganga Ghat especially from the boat. It takes about 45 minutes to one hour. The boat ride on the Ganga is a must. The sandhya aarti at Dasaswamedha Ghat is a treat to the eyes. You can spend the whole evening there.
Mysore Palace -, Mysore Palace is turned into an illuminated icon of the city. It was an exhilarating experience to watch the illuminated palace. Every Sunday, from 7 pm to 7.30 pm is the best time to visit the place.
Chandni Chowk – New Delhi -The Parathewali Gali in Chandni Chowk is world famous for its paratha, lassi and rabri. There is a small shop known as Natraj, which is famous for its chaat. Visit the Parathawali gali, Kakke di Haati and savour kulfi and dahi bhalla to please your taste buds with the taste of India.
Darjeeling- The oldest mountain railway in India, Darjeeling Himalayan Railway offers stunning and picturesque views of the mountains including the Kanchenjunga. The major highlight of the route are the natural loops through which the train passes through; the most famousis the Batasia Loop. The train takes a very a lot of time to cover the distance but the splendid views that it offers makes it worthy for a-lifetime experience.
Hawa Mahal – This pink sandstone architecture is part of the city palace and one of the most significant buildings of Rajasthan. With numerous windows cut into the building, the palace gets its name – Palace of Winds.
Dal lake, Srinagar -Dal Lake is beautiful attraction of Srinagar that covers about 13 sq km featuring Houseboats and shikaras. There is a floating vegetable market on Dal Lake and also a floating post office. While visiting Dal Lake, you must taste Qawah, a local favourite.
